National Honey Month is Sweet with These Bakery Partners!

La baguette magique granola bars

It’s our third and final week of celebrating some of our favorite retail bakeries throughout the United States as part of our National Honey Month celebrations. Each of these bakeries is promoting honey, honey bees and the use of this 100% all-natural ingredient in breads, pastries and sweet goods at their bakeries in September.

Read part 1 and part 2 of our retail bakery series.

La Baguette Magique, West Chester Pennsylvania

When we walk into a bakery and the bread of the month is a Honey & Whole Wheat Pain de Mie, we know we’re home. And that’s what La Baguette Magique feels like: Home. The bakery makes exceptional bakery foods and delivers a warm welcoming feel from a staff led by Catherine Seisson.

We first met Catherine at the 2018 Honey Baking Summit. She helped us celebrate National Honey Month last year, contributed to our Made with Honey Recipe Book and is celebrating bees and honey again this September. If you’re in West Chester, Pennsylvania, stop by and pick up some Pain de Mie or check out some of their amazing pictures on Facebook

Baker Miller, Chicago

Honey maple pecan hand pies? Sign us up! This is how Chicago’s Baker Miller kicked off its National Honey Month celebration. If you didn’t get a chance to grab one, don’t worry. According to the bakery, “We’re going to spend this entire month highlighting pastries made with honey because pretty much everything we eat relies on our honey bees being healthy and vibrant.”

That’s a message we can get behind. We can also get behind Baker Miller’s savory menu and their unbelievable biscuit sandwiches. Next time you’re in the Windy City, grab a honey pastry, avocado toast, or bacon & egg biscuit. Visit them online here
