YIELD: Makes 1 serving
INGREDIENTS
2 or 3 - fresh or dried figs, quartered
2 tsp. - balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. - honey
3 T - mascarpone cheese, room temperature
1 T - honey
1 - bagel, split, plain or poppyseed recommended
2 slices - prosciutto
additional honey for drizzling
DIRECTIONS
Toss the figs with the balsamic vinegar and 2 tsp. honey, set aside.
Mix the softened mascarpone cheese with 1 T honey.
Lightly toast the bagel halves and top with the honey cheese mixture, prosciutto and figs. Toast under the broiler for an additional 2 or 3 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly, drizzle with additional honey & serve immediately
